YOU – The Show That Shows What’s Wrong With Completely Trusting A Stranger

2 min read

One after another, we have had an overflow of some of the most kick-ass original shows by Netflix. Honestly speaking, I have spent more time netflixing and chilling than swapping channels on TV to find an apt show. Binge-watching concept has completely changed, all thanks to Netflix and of course ‘YOU’.

Released later in the year 2018, YOU is a story of a guy who’s nothing less than a smart psycho and a girl he sees in his bookstore and immediately is head over heels for. Now we all know love is blind, but who knew it could be this crazy and maddening. Starring Penn Badgely, Elizabeth Lail, and Shay Mitchell, YOU will take you through a series of expected and unexpected incidents that can happen in your life if you trust a stranger, and moreover start dating him right away.

While there’s only one season available on Netflix yet, the reasons for you to start watching it right away are multiple. Not just Joe’s character, but the whole plot of the show is pretty addictive and obsessive too. The character sketches are beyond remarkable and the show has a perfect mix of thrill and mystery in it. Just when you think things are getting better, poof, something unbelievable happens!

All in all, it’s a great show to watch and pick the right lessons for yourself. While you may find Joe’s stalking skills really creepy at a lot of times during the show, don’t let it sway away your interest. After watching 10 episodes of around 45 minutes each, you’d surely agree that the show was worth your time. If you are curious to know what’s wrong with trusting a stranger,  play the show right away and you’d find out what goes right and what goes wrong with Guinevere Beck. I don’t want to spoil it for you!

And….just in case you have already watched it, please let me know in the comments below. I would love to know what you think about it and if you too would recommend it to someone else. Until then, adios!
